克里斯托和珍妮·克劳德夫妇俩（Christo & Jeanne-Claude）
是20世纪最有魄力，也是最具争议性的美国雕塑家。

　　俩人的作品多属“浩大工程”，牵涉到的内容包括法律、外交、
政治、土地、经济，也动用到极大的人力与物力，是其他同辈人难能
比拟的。

　　但他们经年累月，苦苦经营的作品，最终多在自然界中消失得无
影无踪，没有留下任何痕迹。

　　克里斯托的艺术哲学是：“自由，自由的敌人是拥有，拥有是等
于永久。”这也就是他的作品无法久留的原因。

　 ＊《奔跑的栏栅》（Running Fence），加利福尼亚，1972至
1976年—用尼龙纤维扎起，延伸39.5公里，共用16万平方米的尼龙布
料。

　　＊《包围的海岸》（Wrapped Coast，Little Bay），澳洲，
1968至1969年—以10万平方米的防腐布料及56公里的玻璃纤维绳捆绑
在巨石上，长2.4公里，宽250米，海拔26米。

　　＊《围绕群岛》（Surrounded Islands），佛罗里达，1980至
1983年—以约60万立方米的粉红色布料，漂浮围绕着11座岛屿。

　　＊《日本雨伞》（The Umbrellas Japan），1984至1991年—分
成两部分，1760支黄色雨伞在加利福尼亚，1340支篮色雨伞在日本，
每支伞高6米，圆径8.66米。

　　＊《隐蔽的德国柏林国会大厦》（Wrapped Reichstag），柏林，
1971至1994年—经23年的周旋后，终于在德国国会以292对223票通
过，获准进行铺盖工程。
